a quickie

I live behind a church. Less than a block away. It's church bells are going off right now. Not just one bell, but several, all at once. Exactly like the bells at the beginning of the movie version of SOUND OF MUSC. Every Sunday morning, at about 9:00, they ring the bells for a half an hour straight. The only day of the week when I actually get up before 12:00.

So, am trying to figure out if it is a good idea for me to go out to see VILLETTE tonight. I have another ear infection, this time in the other ear. It is not as bad, but it is rainy and windy here tonight and it is some ways from the tube station to the play. But I REALLY want to go see it. I'm going to go. There really is no doubt about it. I'm obstinate. I hope my ear doesn't suffer.

You've probably left but go for it! Go! Has the doc prescribed anything for your ear? Anything to the tune of amoxillin or Otomise spray? I am intimately acquainted with those for my ear...

I'm about off.

I can't take amoxilin because I'm allergic to it. I've been taking locorten-vioform drops. The doctor is thinking about referring me to a specialist. I used to go to one when I was a child. Haven't had ear problems like this since then. It's your windy weather :)

i would have gone too. but i ignore sickness a lot, which is a bad plan. i hope you feel better! i can't imagine being allergic to amoxicillin. it's my favorite. i used to love the bubble gum flavored stuff when i was little and liked to get strep throat all the time....sigh..those were the days
